Account Manager

Reports to: Client Service Manager 


The Project 
The project is dubbed “MediaX” and it aims at changing how brands and companies connect with consumers by
introducing new techniques in media panning. The MediaX platform plans to deliver a one-stop shop media
management solution that encompasses media planning, media buying, ROI tracking on media spent and in the
coming months, content production. We will transform the way brands and customers connect. We consider
ourselves the “Uber” of media solutions in Africa  

The Role
This is the interface between the sales team and the project delivery (execution teams). This role is
responsible for ensuring that customer happiness is achieved and more specifically: 
•	Customer handling throughout the pre-sales & post sales process
o	Pre-sales 
	Leads to opportunities  conversion 
	Preparation of pitching materials 
	Attending pitches with commercial team 
o	Post sales 
	Partner management – Managing our partners to deliver customer solution 
	Billing & invoicing – Following up to ensure cash in bank 
	Reporting & client management – Constant interaction with key customer groups and growing and
delivery life time value of each customer 
•	Life time value of each customer - Upsell opportunities assessment (The value of a customer over a period
of time)
•	Partner enablement – Working with our network of agents and partners to ensure they delivery revenue for
the business (Media owners, research firms, media monitoring firms, sales agents etc.) 
Duties and Responsibilities

	Responsible for driving the tactical execution of our partnerships, ensuring that we are optimizing and
keeping parties accountable in fulfilling their stated responsibilities
	Responsible for managing existing client accounts, maintaining a long-term relationship with accounts and
maximizing sales opportunities within them.(Life time value) 
	Manage the delivery and follow-up of services sold to customers:
	Media planning via our planning tool, MediaX™
	Media buying through our network of media houses and other partners
	Media production of content such as radio ads, outdoor ads etc. through our network of design &
creative partners 
	ROI services through our media monitoring partners 
	Responsible for managing the customer account handling process and ensuring that our client's quality
reputation is upheld through a high standard of service.
	Work with the sales commercial team to prepare needs analysis documents, project charters  within the
sales process for both opportunities and incremental projects.
	Responsible for sales support activities such as: client breakfasts, product demonstrations, launches,
customer visits and meetings.
	Identify opportunities and drive incremental revenue from your assigned accounts

Qualifications;
A diploma or Degree in any field

Media Analyst

We invite applications for Media Analysts to join our hard working innovative team. We are particularly
interested in people who are proficient in the following languages;

Ethiopian Origin
Ability to speak and write in Tigrinya, Amharic, Oromo and English as well as translate Tigrinya, Amharic and
Oromo to English. Proficiency in one is okay but all three or two will be an added advantage

Other skills and qualifications:

•             Minimum of a Diploma from a recognized Institution. A bias in Journalism\mass communication
will be an added advantage.

•             Good IT skills.

•             Business writing skills.

•             Communication and presentation skills

•             Must have good Customer relations and organizational skills with experience of planning and
prioritizing tasks and events.
